This Is The Real Dinner Party

This is a dinner party in an Iranian house around 100 years ago! Wow. The whole relatives have been invited, I'm sure! You rarely can see such things nowadays, as people are busier and family bonds are not as tight as they were in the past. I really wonder how many hours they spent to prepare the meal for such a big group of people, especially if you consider those days there was no electric device. My grandmother says those days women had to wake up from 5 a.m.! She still wakes up sharp at 6 in the morning even at the age of 80 due to the habit of those days. Of course it wasn't only women who woke up that early, men did the same to go to work. Could they imagine one day some youth might wake up at 11 a.m.?
Life might be hard those days in our eyes but I think it was naturally simple and as my Mum says, "Everyone was happy those days".
